awesome pics mate, those wheels really look at home on your car !!
with regards to the SC.... you should be looking at spending the money on getting it engineered, since you already have spent thousands, the issue of spending heaps on an old eseries is non existant although i do support the idea of a sleeper EF/EL, but that means it will be pretty boring to look at and you will find yourself going crazy behind the wheel to get something out of it |

is it possible to do a custom tune tailored to help with emissions, then change it back to an aggressive tune later?

umm yea! with the ems i can remove fuel from the ecu map..
im thinking on making up a couple of restriction plates to fit between the exhaust flanges to try quiet the exhaust down for the engineering process aswell.. |

Yeah emissions testing is free in NSW. They do it at the Penrith RTA depot.
From all reports with a new cat wrapped in exhaust wrap to keep lots of heat in it its fairly easy to pass. The killer is the EMS. From what I have been told many times an aftermarket computer is not engineerable in NSW at all as they can be adjusted after the engineering process. A factory one that has been cracked and retuned is ok but as it is considered to be non adjustable in the eyes of the RTA.

well it still does have the factory ecu where the factory ecu should be..
providing it passes the emision test i may have the issue of the exhaust noise then as i said before finding an engineer that actually answers the phone and gets back to me.. do you know of any engineers evil098?? |
