Yeah, after driving my EB as a daily I've found a single spinner to be very s**t, reversing on gravel, even under the smallest amount of throttle starts to spin.

Maybe XG utes were fitted with an LSD for obvious reasons being a vehicle used for carting s**t around?

I know my XF ute didn't originally have one..

Far out, sold the Tx5 & bought a ute. I won't argue with the FWD isn't enough fun statement, which is why I would love to convert my mighty boy to AWD (yeah it can be done) if i come across the gear to do it again & i can afford it at the time.

The ute might have had a reco engine put in it, remember, these things are getting a few years old now, a fair few have had multiple head gaskits or even engine swaps due to failing head gaskits.

Need to get some pics up soon or start a new thread on the ute.

Cheers

ToranaGuy

yea it was a quick decision and the offer of the TX5 and $350 trade in was abit to good to walk away from, i never seem to keep front wheel drives for long ive owned 3.....when i get the ute ill get some photos and start up a thread for it, its pretty straight compared to most utes getting around my area.

AWD mighty boy would be awesome and sure would suprise a few people.
