alrighty then i have bought a detail kit for it from super cheap to clean it all up, and i have worked out where the turbo will be put so once tafe finishes (next monday) i should be ready to start depending if the wrecks out of the shed or not.....the battery will be moved to the boot and the turbo will sit where the battery was me and my mate have a rough idea how the exhaust will be done its should be a good project.

well like most things theres a minor problem with tuboing the tx5.

some dude on mx6.com wrote
you need an aftermarket engine management system to boost the KL engine. the factory ECU uses a VAF which cannot measure pressure. most people like me have chosen to use MS (costs about $600-$800AU for everything you need.

i cant afford that any time soon.....so ill have to give it a miss for now.

Nah just kidding, it'll be good when you can get the gear you need to turbo it.

Yeah fair enough, there's never enough money to spend on cars is there

So what are you going to do with it if you're not going to turbo it for a while?

not to much has been happening to it at the moment just been driving it :P i did look at a set of multi fit wheels at a wreckers need tyres i thought bugger it but decided i may go back and see what they want for them and try one on....i also fitted a flexible pipe from the back of the head light to the pod filter for abit of cool air.

purchasing this week and next:
shifter bushes gear stick has a s**t load of play in it
new antenna so i can use the radio
oil and filter change
new spark plugs
and last of all a good clean and polish

after all that:
possible get it in the shed and colour code the grey bits on the bumpers
new exhaust
then new wheels and tyres and lowering.
and new speakers.
only a short list
