does anyone have any ideas on this idle problem i took the car for a drive to huonville on the weekend and it drove fine didnt chug or anything.

i think ill hang onto this car for a little while longer aslong as after this idle issues sorted 50 other problems dont show up like my old ef.

i may have some bits to make up a intake for it tomorrow as autobarn are having a massive sale as they are closing down :(

oh yea forgot that :P

it has a freaky powerband the first time i drove it it started slowing at 4000 i thought what a gutless piece of s**t then hit 4,500 then hammerd to 7,500rpm  then i went back to the car yard and gave him a deposit :D

im not sure a mate told me yesterday hopefully they are just moving as it will suck if they close down all together, maybe to much competition? theres super cheap just down the road and pretty much right next to super cheap is repco.

Yeah cool, the one I was really wondering about was that mysterious looking black one.

Going to install them in your dash on the passenger side?

yea the black one is air fuel ratio when you turn on the key it will light up numbers and needle like you see in newer model cars.

not to sure yet ill be mounting the repeaters tomorrow and washing the car, after that ill probably get the gauges out the boxes and sit them in places and see where i like them, id like them above the glove box in the dash depends on visibility.

well the fun has started tonight i started pulling the TX5's interior apart, its kinda like lego it all pretty much clips together :P i removed the section from around the stereo etc, removed the front half of the centre console, removed my cd player wich has decided to occasionally work

so im thinking of mounting the cd player in the glove box and having the gauges where the cd player sits.....or mount them up on the dash somewhere opinions?

also thinking of doing something with the interior while its all apart so im open to suggestions for that to :D

this may take abit longer then it should but ive got another project thats gonna be started by next week.

I reckon they might go well in your dash, on the passenger side.

But if you were going to go to the trouble with relocating your head unit then they might look really good there too? I can't picture your interior ATM
