Hi guys,

Well thought it was time i wacked my car in here after seeing everyone elses cars, ok well my car started life as a stock as a rock White EF Fairmont, so when i laid hands on the old girl she was in bad shape, she was pritty much two tone a nice stianed orange and white, so with a bit of help from my put and some patients i buffed most of it out (still some on there today). The car had a cracked from bar when i first got her, when i got her back in sydney (i got her from Gosford) i swapped my standard fairmont rims with a mate for his 3 peace simons which you will see in picttures.

So it stayed with the cracked bar and simons for some time untill one day i decided to go chasing after my dogs and ran over a white reflecter pole which my cusin so politly ran over and hid it in the grass, so that ended up splitting the bar more and punchered my radiator and air con condesor, so lucky for me my dad had a V8 radiator out of a NC fairlane he recked out so that went in my car, and then my mate and i decided to do a BA XR hybrid bar with my stuffed fairmont bar (which ill hunt down pics for but they should be floating around on here somewere), which was ok i entered the Peter Warren All Ford day in 2007 with the bar on the car, after that a Bathurst cruise came up and i didnt have a front bar so one of our members lent me a smashed XR bar for the trip which satyed on the car for ages.

The got a different set of rims and finally lowered the car certesy of Pete who donated the front springs and helped me put them all in, i was over the moon on how long the car sat, then decided to go to liverpool that night and when i let done a lil skid round the set of light and the cops got me and took the car for 3 months (expensive lesson that was), got her back and got some stereo gear for it etc etc.

Then i found a proper Fairmont from bar so my grandparents paid for that as a pressy and painted it all for me, so then i decided it was time to get a decent set of rims and ditch the crappy ones so i got myself a set of BF GT Cobra copies in 18's with the light grey insert (which some cobras came out with) in E series offset so i was stocked then as a birthday present from mum and grand parents they got me my window tint which is 5% so its nice and dark and illegal but oh well, oh and almost forgot somere in amongst that i scored a second hand exhaust of a XR6 in pick n payless for $50 all it needed was another muffler (only had one) and then i chucked a new exhaust tip on, which pritty much leads us here.

Future plans are EL XR kit lower it more and look into a AU engine and box transfer threw another forum member then if i ever have the money would like to get it re-painted.

Yea it was lower in them pics but every since the new diff it has gotten higher for some strange reason, even though i have ultra lows in the back it seems to sit as high as superlows so im going to play around with it a bit more and try and get it back to how low it was if not slightly lower, crazy i know but hay im looking into a new car for mum so that will the holiday car when we go away so yea mine will become rediculesly low lol.

just so people no i drove down bellbird hill on bells line of road and got to the bottom with my front brakes smoking like id just blown the rings with the peddle going straight to the floor lol

has come along way.. i like the new rims.. an the centre lcd screen mod.. ride height is just right too!... dark tints look good!...

No way Drifty my car is going manual but the new one will be auto for mum so that will be the cruiser mine will just be the power pig, and matt yea im over the centre screen im going for a flip out monitor insted so that should be in the car next year and hoping the boot install will be done around same time. Will get pics up with tint on the weekend if the sun is out and i get a chance to wash it.

looks like you could do with some door trims as i said i can help you out

with all the power he has.. any weight saving is a good thing...

Hahahaha that is a old pic of when my window winder motors shat themselves so i had to replace them, took me a week to finally put the door trims back on and svo_matt i will look into them soon i promise, and matt she WILL be a power pig not as yet need funds first.

Actually svo_matt bring them door trims on firday night ill give you the money for them then. also are they EF or EL trims??

Yea they are worth it if you can find a decent one, mine has had a hard life (harder since i have owned it) but have had no trouble just replaced a few bit and peaces for a car its age.

i was driving next to u the other night svo_matt
comin up the mountains and u turned off at springwood
i was in the white fairmont
u gave her a hit through valley heights and she didnt sound to healthy like she didnt wanna take off to much
but still very chunky

dam that looks sweet mate
with the painting of the dash parts it looks like 2 differnt shades of silver or grey
could you give some more info on your choise of paints brands ect.

beasty can verify as im not sure of brand he used but im pretty sure it was all the same paint but u might find they look a little different because of the sun shining on parts of it
but still does indeed look good
