Big update.... the box has been opened (for a few months now). A few C**k have likely made it their home for the summer.
Now that I have a new daily drive, I don't need to worry about keeping the LTD "daily drive friendly". Hence the 6sp Manual conversion wont happen and I can just go for something simple in the way of a 3sp auto. This also means fuel economy is no longer of any concern. The only other news to report is that the LTD has had a full engine bay respray after being stripped down last year. Should look a bit better now. At this rate, should be on track for being back on the road by 2020.

Nice update Waggin. Was wondering what was happening to that other tough AU LTD! An emanual should make the big girl interesting and fun! Have you thought about what gear knob boot you are going to run? I am pretty sure there are no standard AU interiors in 'Light Graphite', let alone a manual one! Custom may be the only way to go for colour matching???
Head and cam upgrade underway on the 342ci in my big girl at the moment. Good luck, with your progress - do not drive through any more big puddles! Cheers Stu

The 363 is "Done". Just not actually in the engine bay
The snag at the moment is trying to decide the qty of turbo/superchargers and where they'll be located. sigh. Where's yours up to? Photos!

Is this the first photo of a 363ci in this thread ?
It's in the bay and should hopefully be ready for tuning in the next couple of weeks once the exhaust has been fabricated - tricky under IRS custom job! You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post. |

Waggin wrote: How did you go for bonnet clearance? looks really tall! Oh stop it...I bet that's what you say to all the other engines! Standard deck height of block and factory Tickford manifold, so I'm tipping it should all fit under-bonnet no worries Waggin wrote: What block, internals and heads did you go with?
