Hey guys, this is my EF gli i got a while back after my scooby was written off. Just wondering what peoples thoughts where on the colour? It was nanna spec in the mechanics storage yard next to my old place of work and we used to joke about how ugly the colour was. Then i seen it was for sale and it kinda grew on me. Anyways now, I like it as its something different and you don't see many of them in this colour around here.

Thoughts?

Hi

I like the colour. And for factory wheels, those are one of the nicest styles. Until you find some new ones you like, they will do the job.

Im with BenJ on this one, i like it. The colour is different. Dont see many e-series getting around in that colour so id stick with it

One thing id suggest is tinting the side indicators and the red lense section of the rear tail lights with VHT niteshades. Not pitch black but just enough to darkedn the lense a bit. I usually would recommend getting a set of clear ones of ebay or something but a guy on here tinted the side indicators and made it quite dark, it suited the black moulding perfectly. Just a thought though

I LOVE Breeze, but this is a tad off from that. I think the tinted side repeaters could go along with the stripe, although I was thinking about getting the black painted out if I hunted the cash for a respray. Needs clear fixed up on front and rear bumper.

Yup the wheels are doing their best to fill the wheel arches atm haha, but the ultralows help that. I actually like the stockies on there, much better then nearly any stock ford rim on a non lux/sports model IMHO.

Remove the black side strips (colour code bumper strips), tinted/clear side blinker, tinted windows and a nice set of 17"+ non chrome wheels, that thing would look A++

That is a great colour, especially on a car just washed and chamoised.
I think it is code F3 "Polynesian Green". Came on EF1, built 1994-95. Have seen EDs in that colour too.

It is too light to be Poly Green. I have an ED Ghia that is Poly Green.

But, photos often are misleading regarding acurate colour.

You should check the Paint Code to be sure.

Cheers
BenJ

That colour is called Mauritis Blue. I think paint code is X1 or something??? My old EF was that colour, I friggin loved that car, still miss it. BTW there isnt too many of that colour around, so it really sticks out. I think i have only ever seen maybe 2 of the same colour on the whole coast. Pics of my old girl are in my gallery.

Cheers

I love the colour

Colour code the bump strips, fit clear side indicators, tint windows and fit some nice wheels under that and you'd have a stylin car for sure

EDIT

Imagine that colour with EL XR6 front and full EL XR bodykit  *DROOLS*
