Time to get stuck into dismantle-ring the Fairmont, fortunately I have a full set of tools required for doing almost any repair to a car

I like to start with a set routine when pulling a car apart hence the ashtray is first on the list of items to be removed. I also decided to experiment with aerodynamic aids to help my car go faster

Setting the car alight?

Must be the yobbo disease I have heard so much about

What a waste, car looks ok, wheels look great. Such a waste

No he didn't do it, just fooling around. this is my good car, I have since fitted rear spoiler rear window louver and completely rebuilt the suspension replaced every bush and new springs and shocks lowering the car 35mm in the process. To this I will add new carpets from car I am wrecking plus all the chrome bits from the Ghia and maybe the Tickford head. It is a good car I have done nearly 100,000 km in four years and it has never missed a beat although I have spent a lot on it, new headlights, most water hoses, fluids in brakes, auto and diff new radiator and ac service, coil pack brake rotors and pads front and rear front bearings.
As it stands I can get over 800km per tank of 91 and know that if I want to drive anywhere long distance it will do it no trouble at all and in comfort
future plans are to upgrade the interior with bits from the Ghia I am wrecking and a few performance mods Exhaust and intake, recon the Tickford head and fit that and ECU plus auto trans fluid cooler
