Get out a multi meter & measure the leads, if they are not within the range of resistance required, it's time for a new set.

What brand of leads does it have on there atm?

they are gasmaster 8.8mm leads the gas tuning joint put on there when i bought it.

whats the recommended ohmage and distance? if that makes sense

Off the top of my head, i can't remember what the resistance should be over the distance of the leads, but 20k ohms springs to mind for some reason?

Yeah i believe it ranges from 10-20ohms per metre

i did take my tail bone out a few times when getting into them when they were first put in

it's because i vinyl sprayed the centre console because it was all scratched and f**k. the colour on the lid was exactly as the original colour but it didn't turn out like that.

uniacidz -> Those seats are EB Xr8, same recaro seats thru EB Xr's to ED Xr's. The bosters are not all that high on them, but yes they are higher than the stock type bucket seat. I much prefer the "recaro" type buckets, having a leather & velour set in my Xr8 now, and a full leather set in my EB Ghia. I also have another full leather set to sell shortly, and my g/f has a set in her EB2 Xr8.

Each to their own i guess.

That you could have. I currently have a set that will be up for sale as soon as i i can clean them up enough, but that can't happen until i get my EB Ghia running again, bloody rain! Engine & box are in, just sitting there, it's too wet to get out there & hook all the small bits up. :evil:
