hey guys, thought id start a thread up for my car.. it wont really be a steady build thread as im only young and only in a part time job at the moment, tryin to fit in school too..

soo heres the deal.
i bought this car off my parents.
its a 1999 series 1 au fairmont ghia, with a 5L V8 under the bonnet ONLY DONE 94,000!... ive got alot of plans for this car and most of them will stay dreams for a while but hopefully they will all come true one day..
full leather interior, premium sound with 2 12" 500watt subwoofers getting a pretty decent sound.

my plans:
HPC coated 4006's
18% tint
twin 2 1/2 system with hi flow cats
trickflow trackheat intake manifold/phenolic space
70mm edelbrock tb
possibly bigger MAF?
1.6 or maybe 1.7 YT rr's
crane 2030/2031 and springs to suit
AFR 165cc heads
blower? :D
19" ba gt-p rims
whitewalls
dump on ssl's/monroe gt sports shocks
remove spoiler
nightshade tail lights
chrome side mirror scalps
clean up engine bay
SLOW302/XYTMONT plates :)

so far i havent really done much, the car was in a crash on australia day, the rear was mangled! altezza lights were put in because of this and i wanna black them out basically.. ive got a 2 1/4" catback system, getting a pretty nice note.. clear side indicators, blue interior lights, new headunit.. just pretty basic stuff at the moment.

now its time for some pics!

just messin with a homemade fisheye lense lol.. need XYTMONT, not XITMONT

ill try to keep this thread updated, even if its just random pictures and little bits i do to the car.. hope you guys like it!

Just a pity your number plates read exit instead of excite eh?
Agreed on the tail lights, altezza doesn't do it for me, the tint should fix em up.

the series one except for fairmont had yellow indicators. The Fairmonts had the clear indicator which is pretty much became the standard tail light for II and III but mid 00 it was random some sII models got sI tail lights and spoilers some SII got SI spoilers and SII lights.

yeh, the s1 fairmonts had the clear indicator also.. just figuring itd be cheaper to get non fairmont ones even though they the same, just the fairmont name makes it cost more lol..

and yeh, i want the emphasis to be on the MONT so its not excitement, its excite MONT

as much as i'd like to sell my altezzas to get funds for new ones, im keeping them in case the popo decide to pick on my for my tinted ones, ill just chuck them back on for a few weeks.. $30 each is a very reasonable price. id be happy to pay that. theyre getting sanded down and painted anyway so the condition isnt really the most important factor, although nice ones would be good.
