 A 4.0 6cyl will probably do a lot better than a four cylinder up a hill!

corolla goes awesome up the outlet :P ute doesnt like the hills on boyer road to much :(

altho theres 2 differeces corolla 80,000k's ute 396,000k's lol

it would probably be alright but mum said i can take her car so why not, sister works so i gotta drop my neice of to my brother in law at the warf at 5ish.

the fuel economy of that little corolla tho is awesome and goes pretty hard for a 1.8L 5sp.

Yeah fair enough. It would certainly use less fuel :P

By the way, I'll be checking my ute regularly, if the coil and leaf suspension and diff is gone I'll know where to look

small updates for the weekend i moved the tacho from the console to the dash i put the 3 gauges in left over from the TX5 (air fuel ratio, oil pressure, oil temp) they are useless inaccurate s**t qaulity gauges so i took them out and they will be goin in the bin :P

noticed the utes still got 2 mufflers on it may unbolt the rear muffler and see how it sounds :D

need some help ive been offerd a manual ECU for the ute for $100 + postage now the problem do i leave it auto or convert it to manual??? :|

i like the cruisy feel with the auto and a nice cam and shorter diff gears will make it alot better.
but i also like manual :P

Well maybe leave it as auto until you decide or the auto box doesn't work anymore :p

Which probably won't be too long if you're still really keen on first gear
