well the auto is still playing up :x on another note i looked at the VL across from my house today as in the paper they are all over priced and its a heap of s**t lol needs a roady but it will need tyres, windscreen, tail pipe, brakes (fronts metal on metal) and what ever else gets picked on.

back to the ute im not sure whats going on with the auto its pretty anyoying tho on a good note i did pick up my paint today and 2 more random pics.

paint: primer, high build putty, 2 tins of white paint and a tin of clear.

and 2 more pics

Haha. I've always thought the utes would look better if they were a bit longer in the tray, there's an XH in the huon area that's about 1m from the drivers door to the wheel arch

It looks huge, unfortunately it has a massive canopy on it..

well i didnt get to do any of the bumper today :( but the lasers gone now and dad got his camry i have to put the cd player in it tomorrow morning then ill have the weekend to do the bumper, while i was at the car yard today (across from my house) i had another look at the ea there runs rough but it didnt seem to bad after some discussion and a phone call a deal was struck, the magnums off it are kept by the car yard i put my 15s on it and i can have it for $600, $200 deposit then pay $100 a fortnight i thought great now i have a daily. i also had another look at the vl the bloke took me for a run in it (very loud) i asked him to give it a little squirt he stood on it untill we got to the turn off :P probably doing like 150 in a 60 zone sadly VL would of cost to much to put on the road but i got the ea and once running right it will be a good daily. its a cfi auto and the eb will come in handy for some bits the ea needs.

i think the 15's off the ute look alot better then the magnums on the ea now a quick run down of what it needs.

degrees engine bay, get it running properly, remove the half gas install has the converter but no tank, fix wipers (dont work), roof lining (none existint) all good the eb will come in handy now :D and a genral clean up.

Ah awesome, I agree it looks better with your mags than the magnums..

Not a bad price, the CFI engines look tough with the carby looking intake :P

Seeing as it's an EA with the old style locks, I have a DA LTD set of door cards, full velour with wood grain, and some rear seats with bolsters. And maybe the power front seats too, all full velour.

What do you think? 8-)

But it looks clean in white, just wash the right hand rear quarter panel haha

Yeah I noticed that when I had a peak at it.

It should be the same paint code as your XG too, so you could spray the front bar body coloured when you paint your XG's bar :P

Before the EB goes you should salvage the power door locks, it might be something that you'll want to do in the future? Maybe keep the whole wiring looms and BCM and the ignition barrel, ect?

Although it's probably too much screwing around, especially if you want to drive it as a daily.

Got anymore pics? :P

tomorrow.

oil and filter change on the camry.
fit new 6X9s to dads navara.
and fit the coil off the eb new plugs and leads and possibly the cap off the eb to the ea and see if it will start

See how good the grill looks colour coded :P

Bugger about your EA giving problems, never had a CFI car, but is the fuel getting injected into the throttle?

Also I thought they had a massive (blue) round and elongated air cleaner housing?
