Cheers BenJ thanks for the info BenJ ill leave them on, may source a XH rear bumper later on as they have the reflectors in the bumper and looks better then these ones do.

The rear eflectors are not screwed on they are clipped on, but you have to get to them from inside to get 'em off (taillights have to removed). And as has been said, they're part of ADR requirements (visible to an approaching vehicle at night when parked).

But if you use an XH bar then you'll lose access to the spare wheel hatch..

{USERNAME} wrote: But if you use an XH bar then you'll lose access to the spare wheel hatch.. really? so the XH has a part in the tray where the spare wheel is located? i need a pair of pliers to open the spare wheel hatch and theres not even a spare wheel so have to go to the wreckers and buy one.

The XH has a wind up style holder underneath the rear like the AU. So if you go with the XH bar then you will need the appropriate bracket and mechanism for the spare wheel otherwise just throw the spare in the tray. LOL.

LOL. or could make up a door or somethin above the wheel well so it can be accessed from the top but id probably stuff it up big time dont have a spare wheel at the moment so i dont have to worry where it goes

Lol is there a problem with the key barrel on the hatch? I've got a few spare steelies and alloys around if you were talking about getting a spare wheel?

hey mate ive got a XH rear bar on my XG, you do lose access to spare wheel door but chucking spare in the back is not an issue.
i also found that with the xh bumber on, the bumber doesnt cover the holes where the reflectors were. i had my holes patched up with they fitted the bar. but i have seen instances where the holes do get covered by the xh bumper, not sure how or why mine was different |

Also, be careful with what type of tow bar you have. Our old XF has a big a*** hayman reese towbar, and the XH rear bar we got for it will not fit over it. Bugger.
Just FYI.

Yeah I should have a spare 15 inch steel wheel with a decent tyre. If not then I would have an old style 15" alloy.
