done a little bit of searching up in my parts shed (full of crap :P ) where i found i still have an ef - el rear bumper and intake pieces :? i swear i chucked those away. while i was in there hunting for all the bits that go with the C4 ive sold i found some chrome trims that go around the horn on sports wheels i knew i had them been looking for them for years :P shame ones got a little bit of surface rust on it :( i also changed the allen key bolts on the steering wheel. I also got given a sports steering wheel as the boss kit on my dads navara stripped the splines (collums ok luckily) so he gave me the steering wheel.

that will do for now going back out to have another hunt around who knows i may find some money

Looks pretty good. Also good news you've sold some spare parts :P

Are you going to be switching wheels now?

yea im pretty happy about that :P

i may try it in the ute dunno its there if i want to use it obviously i wont sell it, if dad gets another boss kit he can have it back.

also everyone probably knows this but i learnt it today and found it quite interesting :) while i was waiting to hear back about the C4 ive sold i decided to measure it and my spare BTR to my suprise they are both the same length i then got a old e series tail shaft out the shed and it fits into the back of the C4 perfectly the only things i see to work around would be shifter location and the cross member seems abit further forward then the one on the BTR. it all most makes me want to track down a good going C4 and get a custom bell housing and put it into my ute :P (my one was in unknown condition). anyway i thought it was good.

also some things ive got planned up for the old ute to happen as i get the money.
1. hot wires :D get them tuesday
2. install B & M Meag shifter (when it gets here  )
3. buy a low k EL motor where the ute will then receive serpentine belt and thermo fans
4. get my spare BTR serviced and fit it with new motor or get a C4

i think that is acheivable hopefully in a short time frame.

That is pretty interesting. IIRC cars with the old 3spd Borg Warner boxes have their crossmember located further toward the engine. Which might be inline with a C type box?

I'm not sure if the Borg and C boxes are related?

no idea but its tempting to put a C4 in the ute now. finally got a hold of my mate hes now unsure if he wants the C4  but it could be a good thing :P

Yeah, the old 3 speeds can be nice to drive and all, but as a daily they get annoying pretty quickly..
