Ok i'm going to find the limiter tomrow , umm i have a question, say i got a mild performance cam and extractors, what would be the best sized diff for an auto for mainly city driving but still driving on country roads?

{USERNAME} wrote: umm roughly 230k, what would the main diferances be between 3.7 and 4.1? not to bad then my utes got 390k on it, it will probably explode if i put a cam in it 4.11's will bring 1st down to about 60 id say 3.7's would be around 70ish in first as for what revs it would be doing at 100 on the high way i am unsure as ive never owned a car with those ratios.

well i'm not too concerned about fuel as i will be keeping this then getting a new car for daily driving
I think 3.7 would do fine, i mean anything higher is better than what i have |

Especially if you do a bit of high speed driving (at 110 or whatever the limit is in your state, you would use way too much fuel. Maybe hunt up an XR diff, 3.45 isn't a bad compromise ratio and it'll be an LSD
