Yeah should do the gearbox first, feels quite sluggish when its slipping :/

Just need to work out what i need and get some quotes

Thanks too my mates the car is now called Xavior lol

pedal box, manual ECU, gear box itself, clutch and flywheel try get the 6 bolt fly wheel, also a clutch cable, gear boot for the console that should do it.

have a quick flick through the for sale section may find someone selling a complete one. probably be better to get you and a couple of mates to do it, my old ef cost about 1,000 at a work shop and that was with mates rates and i needed a new clutch kit so i suppose it wasnt to bad.

Yeah that sounds about right cheers, yeah me and a mate have already swapped a few gearboxes over so we should be able to do it easy, moneys the only problem right now :P

you'll get there though just nurse it with the auto and it should last a little while.

Thoughts of selling it again lol :P, have been thinking how much it could cost when I've done everything i want too it and have been thinking of selling it and mabey getting a XR6 EF/EL as i would rather a sedan than a ute right now, money is the biggest problem, anybody got any thoughts on this?

depends slipping auto will let it down. my mate sold his XG for about $3500 that was completely standard apart from a bull bar.

yeah $3500 is what i'm looking for but anything higher is a bonus, and i'm going to try tightening the bands up and see if that helps

i recon $3,500 should be doable if the autos sorted utes hold there value. try the bands it could sort it out then whack a sign on it and see if anyones keen.
