I have a gregory work manual and it cover ba/fg. I just finished most of my wiring loom, just have to add sum battry cable to the fuse box and join up afew wires. for now im going to just twist them togeather and tape them up just to test it out. Im tossing up weather to use bullet connectors to join all the wires, or wait till i put it in the eb engine bay and feed them thru the fire wall then solder them up.

I'd wait to make sure all connections are correct to EB and the least amount of cuts & solder connections in your loom.

ye i was going to just twist everything up 4now and use my power supply to test. eny1 know how much current the pcm will draw? my power supply is rated at 40amps and enywere upto 30v. That should do the trick you think? or should i just use a car battry?

If you do make sure you fuse everything & dont fry the ecu :?

im not going to use cruise control. I was going to use the top half of a au inlet manifold so i didnt have to worry about the pedel braket or wiring thats how much i dont like elctonics on cars lol. i am going to add a 3rd relay for the thermo fan and i will place that up with the other 2relays and fuse box. then my loom will be pritty much complete. i have to go back to super cheap and get sum more connectors.

when we had the inlet pipe off the BF, me brother-inlaw tried moving the throttle plate by hand ...... went from idling well to running like crap  so i don't 'believe' you will be able to run a AU throttle cable instead :?: :?: unless remove motor driving plate :?: but would that then affect feedback to PCM :?:

It is possible to run a barra using a AU ecu & TB-but be much better using the BF ecu.

i spoze there would be a difference in the air pressure in the 2manifolds aswell wich would make it play up? lucky i didnt go down that road. I was kind of thinking just leave the engine as is so when im ready to start it everything should work normal and if it dosent i can just track it back to sumthing i have done wrong alot easyer. once i know its woking allgood il do stuff like get cams reground. i been looking into the relay earth signal and im pritty sure it uses the pcms rounds. what gauge wire should i use to run from the battry to the fuse box? i was thinking about 40amp cable, then split it into 6 single wire to go to each fuse.
