holly crap dont ever bye 1of them chain on the vice grip handle cutting tool thingy it is so crap not even worth the $8 i bought it for so crap.. I ended up jacking the car up another 40cm Just enough room for the torque rench to loosen them up, the bolts made all kindes of weared noises as i undone them lol, least they didnt break. well got the cat convertor off now. just have to undo the tail shaft and drain the gearbox oil.

why i was under the car yesterday i was looking around the wheels and found the speedo sensor i think. as there not in the gearbox them, I was also going thru ben.j threads and he put lpg into his car. When he took of the inlet manifold it had casting marks for the lpg to be drilled and taped.. I am hoping the same gose for the ba gearbox and speed sensor. Iv almost got enough $saved up to get a engine hoist. Im hoping to pull the engine out by next weekend.

You can fit the rear extension housing from the E series/AU BTR to allow fitment of the speedo gear. |

Also the fg motors can still bolt up to the ba btrs? If so then the e series btr shall fit FG Sump will not fit either the EA/EB/ED/EF/EL/AU/BA/BF K Frame. FG Is a rear sump and all the others are Front Sump. BA/BF Sump can be fitted to the FG Block but you also need the BA/BF Oil Pickup. You will also have an issue with the dipstick. AU/BA/BF Bellhousing swilll bolt up directly to the FG Motor. |

ok im kinda having a hissy fit over the wiring, as in how im going to wire up this beast.
I would like to use the cluster, key and key barrel. the only thing with useing the ba key is i would have to use the doors key barrel aswell. i dont know if it will fit in my eb door yet. if it dose then i would have to go and get a 2nd door key barrel and match it up so 1key works both barrels then i can open both my front doors on the eb .. if it dosent fit well stink. When its time i will be taking the hole dash out my eb to make it black. Cheap as i know but i just been useing interior paint in my eb. going all black. |

I got sum money for a engine hoist but i missed the sales at super cheap im tossing up weather to hold onto the money and wait or go get sum parts i need, brackets, ba cluster, K.frame. I think il wait tho coz im dieing to pull the engine out this will be my 1st time pulling a engine so im abit excited hahaha.
