do you have to have the boot lock working from the outside or can you dummy it there and use the remote switch from inside( just for security reasons). Its a shame about the seatbelts as Im looking for a lap belt from eaeb seriers for the back middle, silly ford didnt think about having a release on it for when you have big loads in the boot, you still have the belt over the seat cushions

I still have the original. It just needs some readjusting so that's fine. I just didn't think I could get pulled up on that.

Annoying about the seatbelt but I knew it was rooted.

Another thing. My battery is about to give out. So I don't think my alternator is working and I have an electricity drain somewhere... yay. I have disconnected power windows and amps so a bit of trial and error

I feel so much safer knowing that road-worthiness is in such competent hands.

Man that flat black looks so good...I've always thought about it but yours is the first EL I've seen in it.

I've got the same exhaust as the one listed above, it sounds pretty good, although you might want to put a rear res in it to quiet it down a bit, just depending on your tastes.

Thanks mate. I'm not sold on the matte black. I like it, but I think I just like having the car one colour for a change. Still looking for ideas on another colour though. There's just do many to choose from

Started prep work on the inside of the doors tonight. Will be priming them tomorrow. Not worried about overspray as I will be stripping the whole thing back soon for a respray

Lol Just give it a go yourself mate. It's fiddly but not hard. And quite enjoyable/satisfying knowing you've done it yourself. Plus. Once you've got all the tools, it's only like $400 for a full respray.

Like I said earlier. I have been wanting to give it a go for a couple years but have been too much of a b**ch to try. I have a couple mates wanting to give it a go with me as well. But first I'm gonna respray the EL, and then my AU :P

continued on with prepping and priming the inside of the drivers doors this morning.

Only going to do the drivers doors (and maybe the boot if i can get motivated) for now as i am running our of primer. but will continue on when i get back form my holiday...

when i finally get around to the full re-spray i will take the doors off the spray them properly, this will just save me some time

Electric Orange, what you would fine on the focus.. and then found that someone on fordmods has already done it the same colour but with a venom kit... AND then i realised that this guy lived in canberra.. dang. so maybe i will re-think my colour choice

Why not do the orange you wanted but with a twist, maybe blue or purple pearl?
