undo the 8mm bolt on the hinge and the bracket to the door and lift the door off

They dont always come off that easy though.

The last four doors in my collection of parts didnt want to budge using this method. Were off a 97 EL too.

Yeh I undid the 8mm bolt in the hinge and they came out rather easily

All doors are now off.

How many bolts hold the quarter panels in? And where are they located?

Actually I would say thats a brilliant result, Seen the rust issue AU onwards have? Thats poor form. A few small spots of surface rust on an E series, Look at a VP by comparison. Those things were rusting on delivery from Holden.

First time I have encountered rust on any car... So more disappointed that's it's there at all... Small amount and easy to fix

you lucky I found spots along the back window,along the boot line and under the boot in the seams to the back seat.

unlucky! i assume maybe its because you live closer to the sea... not too many cars with obvious rust here in canberra...

I live by the sea, the pevious owner was living down in Phillip Island in a nice little rust center spot but the 1st owner was somewhere in Melb
