I think when I go to cut the hole on the bonnet I will be using I will just cut into behind the upper side of the grill. No need for a giant hole

5 speed XF on gas. Extractors. Lowered springs-not sure what brand, pretty sure they aren't cut because the ride isn't awful, however won't know until I get under there. It's about as bogan speck as they come. But it runs well and will be another fun project car...

Will most definitely be re-spraying it. The paint is awful and it has more than its share of bruises

I'm on thin ice apparently. I'm not allowed any more cars until next year

Lol always room for one more...

Anyone know what the largest wheels I can run on the xf are?

Photos show some of the dents that I need to fix up... And the high a** issue...

Discovered that its riding on Monroe gas shocks... The rear springs are red and fronts are black. No idea what brands they are...

you can go 17" with low profile tyres without stuffing the speedo, it all depends on how much you want to spend.

Someone will probly correct me but HSV's are on either 18 or 19" as standard. They are all legal as long as they fit under the wheel arches and don't rub on the guards

Isn't rule of thumb that they can't be bigger than 2 inches than the standard rims?

I wanted to report this post for stupidity
Go play with a tyre calculator.

Vic rules below. NSW laws regarding total circumference are the same, cant remember about the rest.

So I decided to start the prep work for the new paint. Going to completely strip through the black and the original paint for a better finish. But it's gonna take a while...

This took about 30 mins with the orbital.. I may upgrade to a better one
