True. Money is the devil. At least of you sell it you can free up funds for the mont... What's wrong with the mont anyway?

Are you "legally" allowed to do that?

Actually, I don't think you can legally do that.

Cheers

EBs had lap only up to Sept 92, when a new ADR requirement was introduced mandating the use of Lap sash belts.

If your mechanic is saying it is OK and doing the road worthy then get him to agree to pay the fine and onther associated cost when you get done.

You can't go backwards on minimum safety fitment. If using the example that EB's only had a lap belt so it is OK to take it out of an EF/EL, then it must be OK to take the airbag out of an EF/EL as the EB didn't have one.

As Ben has said the 2 models are covered by ADR and that doesn't matter whether it is NSW, VIC or King Island, that ADR covers it.

If you Mechanic says that it is OK, Good, Change Mechanics.

Some more priming today, insides of all doors and fuel cap now ready. Sanded the roof back and started to prime again as I had some striping. Came out much better with my new gun but still need to work on my technique a bit. Got orange peel for the first time since painting as well :( however my spraying skills has come along a long way since I started as majority I'd coming off the gun really smooth as oppose to when I first started it being very hit and miss..

Will fix up orange peel throughout week and hopefully lay some colour down next wkd :D
