Got a bit more done today, mounted manifold and turbo, once I have it running I will take the manifold off and have it sand blasted and powder coated :D

Yeah it's a strange one, custom made a couple years back. It'll do the job, and will be replaced if it's not up to the task :D

Car looks tough as mate, get some socks for those leads, they work awesome stop leads from melting and splitting.

I agree, it is a good look. Car clearly won't be a sleeper so may as well show it off ;)

i was going to do mine matt black and keep standard issue plates but then it'd just look unfinished all the time so i'm getting it personalised plates and putting the intercooler to be seen lol

Moved the battery to the boot today, still need to buy a proper case for it, and buy a dry cell battery, but since it's not being driven it's fine for the moment.

Also, after a couple house of scratching my head, I realised the hot side piping needed to run under the k frame, MUCH better fit. I did however cut into the body unnecessarily first though :( but once I've got it running I'll get the hole welded over and tidied up

Story of my life, progress is very slow on the turbo project... Finally got around to lining up my cooler piping, just need final joiner to connect it all... Next step is to get another sump and get the drain line welded in.

{DESCRIPTION}

Spent some monies to make the ute a bit more fun.. 3" exhaust, stereo, and some 19" thunder rims. That'll probably be the end of its modifications as it will be the daily... May get lowered a touch though :P
