Hey all,

My names Paul, i have been on fordmods for the past six months and just got my hands on an el falcon that belonged to a mate of mine. Already it has began to change.

Make: Ford
Model: El falcon gli
Year: Sep 1997
Colour: maroon...?

Wheels:18" B Boss... I want to get some 19" typhoon dark agents in the future
Interior: Stock
Exterior: EF fairmont bonnet, typhoon front bar, 2 1/2" red back exhaust with pacemaker extractors and a highflow cat filter and a twin tip

I only just picked up the bonnet and front bar on the wkd and have already started putting it all together, managed to score them at decent prices as well. But I did get a little excited and bought the wrong headlights (EF falcon headlights, never used, pm me if you want to buy them for a good price).

So I spent about 3 hours on sat, I didn't think that was too bad for a beginner, taking of the front bar, headlights, and bonnet, and put the new bonnet on, and then each night after work I have been fiddling with it .

Looks like the paint is in mint condition there, good buy mate :)

Love the progress with the bonnet and the front bar, they look killer!

The wheels really set the car off too, looks like the ride height has been dropped too?

ps- dirty hand prints on the pillar ftw :P

Thanks, took the better part of a day polishing but came up beautifully! Interior is superb as well, apart from a broken headlight switch, which is on it's way.

And I forgot to mention earlier, lowered with super low king springs and Monroe GT shocks. I was worried that the fibre glass front bar would make it too light at the front, but it looks like the bonnets extra weight may work out to my advantage...

Got a little bit more done this week... Have got the fairmont headlights on, the front bar mounted and got some red LEDs in the dash, the photos dont do them justice on how bright they are.

Got around to adding some better quality LEDs into the cluster, so now it is a bit brighter.... got the trip computer in and red.... and mounted my moulded sub box and amps in the boot. The box used to be in my AU, but it fit fairly well in the same spot, just required a bit of wedging in. It is good to have a boot again though

At first i used the ones on the link below, and they were pretty good.

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/10-Car-Red-L ... 2561e77670

but then i bought these ones, and they are considerbly brighter due to the better spread of light.
