Hey guys how are we going, just a general question that i need to know asap due to my diff in my car is gone, it is almost giving up on me and i need a way to fix it without spending too much $$$$ on it.
i have been quoted by a mechanic that it could be anywhere from 1000 - 1600 to replace the control arms and the diff. I want to know if there is any cheap way of getting another diff that will bolt straight onto my 1989 EA spac 5 speed manual 3.9L WITHOUT ANY MODS TO THE DIFF. i will also need the axles I want to get out of this with the least amount of money possible as i am saving for a new car that i want to pics up in the near future.

hey man can you change the diff yourself? its not that hard, and to be honest 1100 bucks is a lot of money for the job done. i had to change the diff in my 87 model gn sigma, i spat the tailshaft and input spline sheared clean off. locked her up dead. cost bout 80 for the diff and six hours with a mate on the weekend. good luck with it
