Thankyou SVO_Matt :D

I have also enquired about replicas and asked for the differences between Genuine and Copies. Genuine are 8.5'' instead of 8.0'' and have a stamp on the back of the spokes.

I wonder if the Genuine GT rims are Lighter?

No luck with EB GT rims though ... They are the best looking e series rims
(IMHO of course 8-) )

with the eb gt i dont think you will find a set any time soon i did see a set on ebay that went for abot$200 as no one made a rip off of them but i think $1100 is a good price for a genuine set as i paid $800 for mine (there a after market one)but i would snap them up

I've got a set of EL GT replicas in silver in good condition. I'm in VIC, but I'm happy if you organise freight.

i know where you can get some new EL GT replicas with tyres... but for the price you'd be better with getting new FPV wheels.

I found a guy that does EL GT reps for $1500 with tyres and freight. Honestly I am not a big fan of BA/BF wheels on E series, with the exception of BA MKII 17'' rims, (runs and ducks for cover) the bulge on the front of the spoke makes them look softer, however they don't do replicas for that style.

Can anybody confirm this?

Is the stamp a ford logo or a serial number?

This is what on the back of the spokes on the GT Rims I am looking at

SPOKE 1) 17 x 8.5 J-8 4P

SPOKE 2) 18

SPOKE 3) CAV1 ROH 01

SPOKE 4) 884-1007-AC (The number is different on each rim)

SPOKE 5) 0271

SPOKE 6) And then there is an empty rectangle shape on the other spoke

Are they genuine

Ok, was it you that won those Genuine one's without tyre's for $1005???, NICCO! :o

I thought the Fake Gold one's went abit over priced aswell, but they went for less, and WITH TYRES! :|.

Nicco, there was one auction for just 1 Genuine EL GT Wheel, there was a set of Fakes, along with a set of Genuine's with tyre's, and I don't know if the other wheel's, that had a buy it now tag on it are still there or not.

oh yeah, and i figure that the two sets of genuine wheels both went for good prices, as i was recently (2 weeks ago) offered on here a set of genuine wheels for $1200, but they needed re painting. There was no mention of tyres, so i am assuming they were either shagged or didnt exist.

i was considering them, but decided i need the money for... *other* mods :?
