As the title suggests im chasing a Climate control unit out of an ef or el it doesnt bother me as long as it is grey and in good working order. Thanks. Let me know how much

ef/el CC's are internally wired slightly different, just be weary!

The vacuum solenoid pack attached to the heater box is different between EF and EL.

EL vacuum packs are marked 96DA
EF vacuum packs are marked 94DA

If you use an EL CC module with an EF vacuum pack (and vice versa), it cant control the air direction properly.

The difference is in the control for the face vent solenoid.
On EF units the solenoid is a N/O circuit.
and uses a ground signal to shut it, and a 12v signal to open it.

On EL units, the solenoid is a N/C type, and uses a ground signal to open the solenoid and a 12v signal to close it.
