Hi there folks, trying to save a bit of money. I am in need of a LH guard for my GLi, and a front bumper c/w reinforcing. So I can save on painting, I would dearly love to get both in the Heritage Green, that is the dark green. Wreckers have lots of guards and bumpers, but none in the green

Idealy the parts would be in Melbourne somewhere, and in good nick.

Mate if you want to save some money of the parts,
Just drive around melb until you find the right ones,
Carefully remove them from the car without damaging them or the donor car,
Leave a note thanking the owner for their generousity in helping you get your car fixed.
Go home and install the newly aquired parts.

Yeah you could try him, nice and close to home so you would save on fuel.
I'd go atleast one or two streets away though, maybe the next town over even, just for safety's sake.
