if anyone has a spare Vacume tree (connects to the brake booster and map sensor) for an EA cfi Falcon that they want to sell, let me know ASAP, the wreckers dont have one and my car is runnin like s**t without a good one - HELP!

oh yes they are i have priced them and they are about 38 dollars for the brass one i searched like repco like with repco only parkes and some place in QLD had one. the local dubbo autobarn has one for roughly 40 dollars like yah iam after one cause i am slowly builing up ampfi manifold from bare and yeah if you happend to have an old cfi manifold there is one on it.

the genuine ones arent brass they are bakerlite/plastic. they are less than 15 dollars

I paid $19 for 2.. I had to replace one.. then I broke the new one while replacing it.. so had to buy another hahaha
That was a while ago though.. a good 2-3 years ago

i got a brass one on my old cfi... just sitting there...

pay for postage.. i could probably off load it for nothing.. is cost me 50 bucks too

in the mean time.. a quick fix.. put a coke bottle lid over the top of the hole... perfect fit.. if you can find another way to fix it there.. even better... you just won't have a brake booster... i had to do that on mine to drive it to a mates place to fix it with the brass fitting....

ok thanx mate :D

yea at the moment ive just superglued it back on and held it down tight with some cable ties, with it like that it was runnin perfect for a couple of months, but now :oops: thank goodnes i put those cable ties on, still drivable but it dosent like reversing
