Ok I know its not car related. BUT I am looking for a tank and stand about 100l cap in the Sydney area. My setup is now too small for my setup but with all my excess funding going towards my car build the money is not there to buy a new tank.

If you have a tank and are willing to donate it or sell it please let me know. No leaky tanks though.. Please reply in thread if you can help out.

You may have a tank under the house or in the shed? or a mate may have one. Willing to pay for the right setup, but I am on a budget.

Thanks

Dave

DIY stands = easiest thing to build. I've built 2 big ones now, just a steel frame under my 4ft, and a steel framed, wood covered cabinet for my 6fter. Probably took up half a day doin the 4ft, so maybe a few hours work depending on what you make it outta.

I'm a carpenter anyways, so shuld not takelong, thinking nice recyclyed tasmanian ti tree or some nice turpenpine, both smell good and are HARD woods too, more than ample to hold 100l

Fresh tropicals, stuff like gouramis loaches cichlids, few carfish blue rams nothing too expensive while the tank is establishing again.

have you thought about some of the other more 'aggressive' fish? I just find them a lot more entertaining

i really love the agressive chiclids..
ive got a 25cm flowerhorn and it torments and destroys pretty much anything that gets put in the tank with it..
except a 20cm ghost knife that the chiclid dont seem to worry about.
but still a really entertaining fish..
if i get close to the glass the fish tries to get me by charging at the glass.
i cant put my arm in the tank without it biting me several times..

haha Troyman, I've been looking for you for ages, i saw your flowerhorn in your gallery, beautiful!

Do you play games with her etc?

This is Lilli, shes such a smart fish, she watches/follows me where ever i go, pretty funny when I'm sitting at my computer as she thinks I'm hiding and every time i move she tries to go me
I've only been bitten once... My hand was about half a foot out of water..
