And a few other members have commented about the crappyness of some items.

There cheap for a reasons because they are poor quality thats a pretty broad statement thats wrong in a sense. i bought my 18" Apec Apache wheels for $220 each....... and theyre made in Japan, JWL and VIA approved These markings mean theyve passed Japanese goverment quality & testing standards which is regarded worldwide as satisfactory. But yeah, the FPV copies im not too sure about.... unless someone can clarify where they come from, who makes them, and what standards they have been tested on? |

in defence of my "crappy" BA Magnet 18" copies, i might point out that all wheels sold in Oz have to meet Australian Standards, of course they are made in China but as long as you don't let the kids play with them they are standards approved, and i might say a better option than "originals" with hub adaptors, which are basically illegal as far as i can tell.

yes all wheels 'must' pass australian standards..... BUT that doesnt automatically mean all Ford/Holden Copy rims are made to pass these standards, that also goes for any rim just because its for sale on a dealers shelf
http://www.wheelking.com.au/Announcemen ... fault.aspx btw, what is the manufacturer of your copy rims, and does it have a structural warranty? Who do go through for claims etc. |
