So what is red then?

i'm guessing it goes:

EF low was either grey or black (GLi)
EF red (Futura, XR) - for variable wipers
EF mid is blue (Fairmonts)
EF high is green (Fairlanes)

Its:

Black = Gli
Blue = Futura, XR6
Green = Fairmont,Ghia,Fairlane,LTD

I never seen a red one ever

Well two people above have said that they have red ones...
Plus you forgot grey off your list, and the one in my car is most defiantely grey.

Now I wanna know what the difference is between red and blue.

Who really cares . . .
If they've come out of a Futura or XR, and for example, variable wipers and light fade was working, you can assume it will be a mid series BEM.

I've got a mid series BEM that is 'Glacier' colour - you could argue colours forever.

Are the Low series different coloured to differentiate between std GLI's and police/taxi vehicles. . . . . :?: I suppose not . . .

I can't find anything in the Ford EF manual to explain the colour diffs, unfortunately.
