Im after a Petrol/nitro/fuel powered R/C car. Any condition is okay as long as it at least runs. Prefferable brand = Tamiya, but others are okay too. PM me with what you got and how much your asking

Why not go new?? Onroad or off??
Can get an RTR kyosho nitro stadium truck for $400... radio gear etc. included. Just need fuel and batteries for the radio... www.frontlinehobbies.com.au

Kinda. Electric stadium trucks.... will get into nitro eventually. Got an electric rx8 kicking around somwhere... On road too full on for my liking, if you start racing you'll see what im talking about... they carry on like children - complaining, b**ch...
Offroad just about thrashing the cars and breaking stuff Even race meets are heaps laid back. Jumps are cool

mm got me a HYPER 7 TQ it is a beast as for a car i have 1 here for sale in wa all ready to go and running with a new engine not sure on postage though

Firstly, you can do sooo much better than Tamiya.

haha now im hooked,
and the only reason i would go tamiya is that i got some spare bits and peices like gears and wheels and s**t that i got off a mate. do tamiya parts fit other brands? |

Maybe wheel nut size is the same - the 20 something mm hex hub is fairly standard. Maybe some of the pinions from the electrics, but you're looking at nitro....

Nitro is generall faster in any situation. Although brushless electric motors with 10 cell battery packs can also generate some insane speeds. But im pretty sure all RC drag racing is nitro. Lol, would probably be worth seeing if there is a drag racing scene in your state before laying down that kind of money.

theres a rc drag track in victoria somewhere cos i visited the site last night. ah well hopefully i can get me hands on a little ricer and slowly turn it into a funny car. should be a fun little adventure!
and even if the track gets shut down, ill race it in me street (till the neighbours kick my a***)
