I can get you one, good condition, it's out of an EF Fairmont, did just over 150,000kms I believe. There compatible with the older models (I'm running an EBII 4 speed in my EF). Will include the torque converter.
I'll get you price.

you would probably struggle to find one, as not many are advertised you could go to monnah auotsalvage or something but expect to pay a grand for one

yeah, he wanted to buy my auto box. he didn't understand that i don't have one. ah well, i'll throw some prices at him, sure he'll take one :lol:

$1,200 they quoted me if I rememberright - I had to get a torque converter from them, that cost $75.00 plus $20.00 to be cleaned and flushed (otherwise no warrenty).
Reconditioned units, cheapest I found was $2,700.00, that was exchange basis.

well manuals fetch 3 times as what a second hand auto does yet when the cars were new you had to pay extra for the auto.

Depends on the car, for some manual obviously wasn't avalible.
Manual probably was standard, but probably find all the cars sitting in the show room were auto anyhow.
