I'm after the little V8 5.0litre badge that goes on top of the explorer manifold instead of the engine cover on AUs.
I've taken off the engine cover on my EL XR8 and I want to fit that badge instead of seeing the mounting holes for the cover. Cheers |

Be careful too that its not off an american explorer or cobra manifold, as there manifolds are reversed so when you put it on an aussie ford the wording will be upside down. Another thing to watch out for is americans spell litre as liter, so you don't really want that either. Ask AUGhiaV8 cause the manifold I got we *think* was his, so he might know where to source the plaque thing from.

Might go down to Ford and ask them what they cost. Probably scare myself doing so. But they are off AUs so they should still stock them.

I bought it from Ford however they had a hell of a time finding one if I remember (got it in from Melb I think)... was told they were discontinued and that it was was one the last couple about but I've heard that before from Ford. If they don't have one maybe try Rare Spares or Raceparts Australia.
It's funny, I had two to sell at one point and couldn't give them away... but now! Also try a wanted ad on the Aust FF as I've seen a few trade on there this year. |
