Under the car it has a little Motor shaped device, with an arm on it, end of arm is a balljoint. On the diff is TWO struts(?) One as a Balljoint on it.... BUT there is nothing between the motor thingy n the strut....

Oh... the motor thingy is NOT on the springs or shock... It's near the Spare wheel bay

See if the fuse has been removed for it, if it has then they've replaced the shocks and springs with std.
Probably an easy way for you is drop the back seat down and remove the plastic cover, see if it has the lines screwed into the top of the shock. Anyway, seeing as you're replacing the springs, if it has SLS then replace the shocks with std jobs and piss off the SLS. |

I thought it was to do with abs is... I believe that that person who owned it before me was towing a caravan or horse float... Just because if the back was draggin than under heavy brakes the front would understeer?
Anyway so i should check the top of the shock? for lines? what kind of lines you talkin about? I haven't got the car yet, it's gettin a RWC n i should have it by friday... I just want to F**K off these Hard as springs in the rear.... Thanks

I'd say he already removed it if he was towing.
They're basically small plastic lines and they're screwed onto the top of the shock. Just open the fuse panel, whenever i've fitted the std setup i just pull the fuse out for the SLS, otherwise the light on the dash will annoy the s**t out of you. |
