Hey guys just looking at picking up a couple of station wagons in Victoria.

The needs are totally different for both wagons.

The bigger priority is for my aunt, she is after an EF/EL wagon with dual airbags.
She isn't into cars so she pretty much wants something in good condition with a RWC and some rego that she can just pay to have transferred into her name
Gas would be an advantage but isn't essential.
She is looking at spending around the 3-4k mark, but said she might be able to stretch a little further for something in extremely good nick.

I, on the other hand, am looking for something of a different type
I am looking for a project car to set up as a tow vehicle.
I picked up my ED Fairmont for $400 so i am hoping to pick up an EF/EL Fairmont wagon for under or around $1K. Obviously it would probably be unregistered.
Or could swap for my 93 ED Fairmont, but if swapping it would have to be for a registered/running car.
I may consider a nice neat/optioned up Futura, but not interested in a GLI at all.
Im mainly concerned about the body and electrics, as i have a spare rebuild motor and auto gearbox sitting here ready to go in, although having a running car to start would be much better.
In an ideal world it would have an LSD and a 2300kg towpack, but i dont mind if i have to get these on my own down the track.

Anyway, let me know if anyone has anything along these lines
