G'day, I'm after all the bits to convert my EA series 6 cylinder 3spd auto to a 4 speed.
As long as the box doesn't slip and changes gears pretty well I'll be able to pickup from anywhere in the state. I'm also after the other bits for the conversion, like the ECU to control it, etc. I don't want to spend too much, but I'm really keen on getting one, definitely willing to spend more on a box recently rebuilt. Cheers

I've got one for sale, here in Hobart:
ford-parts-for-sale-f17/fs-ef-xr6-94dt-engine-wade-1636-cam-crow-cam-double-valve-s-t80860.html Complete with torque converter, flywheel, gear selector shafts and knob, etc. $200.00. Extra $60.00 and I'll throw a large PWR transmission oil cooler in with it. Only thing to note is that it's got a slow drip leak at the extension housing (the back where the tailshaft goes in), the seal must be damaged, but they're only about $5.00 to $10.00 at an auto store, and most people would change these anyhow when fitting a used transmission (you'd be wise to change the front seal as well). The box has running smooth and the oil was still clean and bright red when I emptied it to remove it from the car. |

I can send you a PM on the exact day.
