hey everyone,
i am after a aftermarket air intake for my ef cyl fairmont. It needs to be able to fit a pod filter on it. Let me knoa if anyone has one for sale or where to get a good one from. cheers TURBOFAIRMONT

Have a look through that thread. A BA intake pipe and flexi pipe should cost $50 or so... Then just get some SS pipe or similar and attach pod. Or, you could get right royally carried away and do something nifty yourself... This works well, in combination with some grille modification to let the cold air in... Ah well... Have a look at the photos in my gallery and you'll see how the air goes through a large hole in the nose cone of the bonnet to the pod filter... All up, this entire thing cost about $100 and I can highly recommend it. Not sure how you'd feel about cutting some air slots in your EF Fairmont grille, or replacing it with something else, but even without the gapping hole in the front the system would still work better than standard EF... (Of course, being my own invention I would say that..) |

Howdy ive got a manderal bent intake pipe it has a outlet for a blowoff valve and it is painted poly green the blowoff valve outlet could be blocked of easy it cost me $200 including postage so if you offer anywhere near that it yours.p.s im at moana and i will trow in a pod filter.cheers buddy

I no,i didn,t even put it on the car i just got an aftermarket inlet manifold with front facing throtle body to go with the new turbo setup.I didnt think i was going for the turbo setup but it easy horespower.cheers mate

Nothing wrong with the old turbo setups

where did you get the aftermarket inlet manifold from? Iv been searchin for ages for one. And can i use a front facing throttle body on a NA xr6 or are they mainly designed for turbo setups?

I have a ba intake pipe with a 3 inch extention into the airbox which then u can put a pod into
with airbox complete for 70
