Hey guys, desperately need a au t5 bell housing, if anyone has one or could point me in the right direction that would be great. Ford pro in smithfield don't have them.
also need an alternator, not as urgent though as i know wreckers have these. |

you can order the bellhousing from ford but the price is a killer...
iirc there about $750 new and if your lucky you might find a second hand one for around $500 .. |

yea $50 for an e series one..
the thing is e series you can use from ea to el.. where as au is only au and theres not that many au 5 speed manuals around and most wreckers sell the bellhousings with the gearboxes as conversions.. thats why im using the e series one on my au engine.. |

Will the e series bellhousing on au motor be ok? ive had no troubles at all. i had the bellhousing im using now in my ea with an au engine for 2 years with no issues. and im now running the same bellhousing behind a au vct in my ed pushing over 190 rwkw and no issues at all.. there is still 6 or 7 bolts on the upper side holding it on, plus the dowles in the au block still line up with the e series bellhousing.. so i dont think there will be any problems.. |
