Long shot here...

But anyone have a BA or BF combo switch (perferably a broken one as it makes it cheaper )?

Looking for one to take the arms out of...

Cheers,
Tim

Dad has none as they don't replace they repair...

I know they are prone to loosing the auto function as they break two wires i think :?

Or something like that anyway...

Cheers,
Tim

Any news George?

Do they make two models of combo? One with Auto and one without? Or they all have auto (I require variable int wipers though)...

Cheers,
Tim

I am waiting for the Warranty guy to get back to me. The BF onwards have just 3 switches, they are 1 for Wagons, 1 For sedans and one for sedans with auto headlamp.

oh well... without auto setting and variable wipers would be the go... :D

Although beggers can't be choosers so I'll gladdly take anything off your hands in this instance...

Let me know what they want for their efforts...

Cheers,
Tim

Tim, I went looking today and asked out warranty guy but Ford now requires us to return the OLD ones :(

I did ask a couple of mechanics to keep an eye out for me if they change one for a retail customer.
Sorry I couldn't help more :(

Your wrecking a BA?

That'd be great...

I'm keen on a wheel, airbag, combo switch, clock spring, and cruise/radio buttons... If they aren't perfect nic thats fine...

For starters I need cheap bits before I spend a thousand bucks, gotta set it up first and make sure its gonna work...

When I go all out I'll prob use FG gear (esp when its more readily available) coz I sat in one tonight and there are a nice shaped wheel...

Plug the airbag is nowhere near as massive as the BA ones...

Cheers,
Tim

It'll be right mate...

I might be modifying some bits anyway... So there is always the case if they do work now then they might not once I get them... :D

You don't know if it has cruise do you?

How do you end up with so many cars to wreck? You buy them off insurance companies or something? :S

Hey sweet...

Looks all good to me... I'll take it all and see what I can't work out to get it going in the ED... That wheel is a start, I wont feel bad when I toss it when I buy an FG momo  ... one day

What do you recon its all worth to you mate?

Cheers,
Tim

Na...

You've made my weekend... And the weekend hasn't even started yet...

Man I owe you big time... Your always coming to my rescue

Haha...

I wont bid on the couple of things I've found on ebay just yet...

I would sooner just buy everything in the one go off one person... It all works out cheaper this way... Esp when it comes to things like post...

I'll wait to hear what happens on Monday then...

Cheers,
Tim

Sweet your a legend...

Yeah if its easier I'll take the column... Prob wont use much off it though :?

Oh the other thing I'll need is the mating for the clock spring... I don't I'll need the combo switch one :? But the hell with it... If you will surgically remove the two plugs I'll gladly take both with as much loom as possible... :)

Cheers,
Tim

The old man can't see why I do what I do... He reckons its too much effort (and he's a mechanic of over 30years)... Same reason people put full BA interiors in...

Gotta make it better than it ever was :D The old box cars are great...

The electronics are so simple...

What datamine did with his flappy paddles is way over my head... I'm happy in my comfort zone... :D

See if I can get a working set up and then you can adapt into your, was it XG :?

Will look good... If it works...

PS who is you cheap courier, I have found 4 that go door to door and I quote all of them when I send gear and pick the cheapest...

Cheers mate...

Haha your the man...

Thats one of the ones I have in my list of door to door couriers...

I live in the middle of nowhere mate so no depots for me here... They generally subcontract to star track or TNT or Toll as they are local and they drop them off...

The other three I have in my list are:

Transdirect
Smartsend
Interparcel

Depending one sizes and weight different ones are cheaper for different things...

That'll be good... I'll keep thinking to make sure there isn't nothing else I want of a BA too... :?

Something to ponder over the weekend...

Hope the new ranch is a ripper too... :D

Shame you have so many memories where you are now... Like wads of cash... The cows helping with the washing... The the horse... And backing the ute off that edge... :P

You enjoy your action packed weekend mate...

I'll be at home installing my ducted vacuum system... And putting EL trims onto my brothers car...

Cheers,
Tim
