you may already know this but i wasn't sure considering all these parts people were trying to sell you
you don't have to change the k frame, you can even use the same engine mounts, all you need is the plate that bolts between the block and engine mounts, a complete motor and box, engine wiring loom and computer, not including the obvious exhaust etc etc that being said i agree that buying a complete car is the best option

you should probable upgrade your springs to v8 spec because of the extra weight. with the 6cyl spring it will sit a bit low thats all i can think of that you need in the suspension

i believe so, i'm going of a visual inspection and info from a mate who knows his sh it and they looked the same from wat i've seen. i dont know if they have different load ratings or something like that but i dont know why they would be different

Get yourself a block for $100-200, and rebuild. You would want to rebuild any v8 you put in as the ones you will find will have high kms unless you pay good money. You can even get away with a cheap a** rebuild, by replacing piston rings only if block comes up good. let me know if your keen on these parts. |

yeah mate 95% sure i havnt seen it in person but from pics etc. they look the same. i have just put an EL k frame in an ED, when i was looking for a good frame to put in the i6's and v8's they all looked the same (frame and engine mount)

And yes the 6 and 8 k frame are the same as i just fitted 1 in my car... |

got a bare 5.0l block out of a series 1 xr8. Pistons, crank and rods have been removed. also have heads, manifold and other parts if your interested. Everything is sepearted so if your keen on any parts shoot me a pm.
