how much are you looking to spend?
i have an ef with a 5ltr, manual, aftermarket computer, msd ignition system.
reco diff.
everything u would need to do the conversion plus a complete car. im looking for 7000 for it.
so if your interested just let me know. and we can talk.
the engine has had a bit of work and has done about 30,000kms since a full rebuild, most parts brand new.

you should be able to do it with $1500 but you be stretching it.

a good second hand motor will set you back around $1000 maybe best to get a donor car with rear end damage so that you have all the parts you need

I converted my EA wagon to V8, i picked up a NL Concorde V8 for $2k with stuffed paint. I'd deffinately recommend getting a wreck so you've got the little things along the way.

its an easy job though.

I have a stock 5L lying around that I have been thinking of getting rid of. It's in storage on Melbourne's west side.

i have a totaled NL v8 fairlane
engine still runs and auto is pretty good, just done 200,000k tho and i am in adelaide

still waiting on court approval for sale atm

but looking for around $1,200 for
5L 302w, auto, looms, ecu's, full loom. K frame, front suspension, radiator, replaced the timing cover and waterpump within the last 10,000k (set me back nearly 400$), alternator, power steering pump

pretty much the entire front end

it was a side on impact, so the front end is still ok
