I don't think there are rear donut headrests. I have EL XR seats, and only the front have headrests. Remember the XR's are based on the Futura. I think Fairymont and upwards got rear headrests.

My futura had front and rear head rests. when it had the original seats.
I am now using EL fairmont Ghia Seats, which will eventually get re-trimmed black.

I know that the EA-ED doughnut headrests will fit for my rear seats, but not for the fronts. So if anyone has a pair of EA-ED doughnut headrests, I would be interested

Cheers
Chris

first bit correct there are no headrests on the rear of the xr seats ef or el.

second part is wrong caus futuras got headrests only gli's and futuras didn't.

EL GT's got rear head rests you could always try get a set from ford ( i doubt this though), otherwise im sure an interior place could meake front xr ones fit no problems.

Have you thought about getting a futura rear seat, taking those covers off, putting XR material over that (so you gain the rear head rest holes) and this next statement may sound odd, fit front head rests on the rear?

Ok, My standard futura seats HAD the headrests.

I am not using the Futura Seats, I am using EL Fairmont ghia Leather at the moment. I have converted my dash to black, the carpet is getting replaced next week, and the leather seats are getting re-trimmed. I would like to get the headrests, so that they can be re-covered at the same time
The EB/ED doughnut headrests will fit the rear seat (I have tried using my EB2 S, bit I would like to keep them in my EB)
Back on topic, I need 2 pairs of headrests, and some woodgrain.

Thats exactly the idea I had not too long ago!!

I have the Futura rear seats, but have not been able to find any EL XR headrests...

The front XR headrests dont fit perfect in the rear futura seats, but they sit in there fine...thats was my great plan but XR headrests are hard to find!

I've got a front set of EL XR donut headsets, if there worth something decent I'd definately consider seperating them aside from that I'd rather just keep them in the garage for when I get rid of the rest of the interior.
