hey guys. As my suspension is crapping out i need some new springs. Im looking for front and rears and i want to lower the car around 30-40mm using original shocks.

Will consider paying post if the price is right.

dude new springs at Repco are like 95 bux for the front and 95 bux for the rear....so 190 bux in total. its pretty cheap for new springs considering those are low springs by king springs. ive heard some people paying 110 bux for a pair. good luck

Now to my understanding king springs do 'lows' which dump it 30-40mm on normal shocks? and 'super lows' dump it 50mm?

as far as i know yes.......so lows should be fine with what ur after. but ask the others in the suspension section just to make sure. or just go out to repco and ask them how low it would sit. good luck =D

Very hard to tell, AU2SR's Falcon dropped lower than Bombers AU XR6 with Lows.

I'm throwing Lows in my Lane as i don't want a gokart, i just hope it goes down low enough.

That makes sense seeing that the XR would have better suspension than the SR's stock from factory.

No, they both had Lows fitted and 1 sits lower than the other... nothing to do with what it had before.

Hmm ok but what i was say is that all the stabliser bars and the diff and all that kind of s**t would be different from the SR to the XR right???? So when u change the springs over that will explain why the XR sits higher than the SR because everything is tighter?????????

Nah the sway bars wont adjust your height.

Just saying that some cars do drop more than others.

Lows are generally a tad lower than XR, especially in the rear.
