I could try the wreckers tomorrow afternoon - will email you with a price then and if it's available of course.

AFAIK the lens is about $11.00 from Ford. All you need then is a globe, globe holder and run the wires back to the centre console plug under the stereo.

I have the lens, globe and loom sitting in my throw out pile at home.

The lens and globe are very easy to get, but you cant buy the loom from Ford.

I'll have a look when I get home on Sunday night and make sure everything is still there if your still interested at that stage.

It plugs into the same plug behind the cigarette lighter. That square white plug that every console loom uses. Just has the extra 2 wires in the loom for the globe.

yeah - it replaces the loom which has that and (for auto's) the power/econ and light plugs

Sorry mate, no go. The Ford dealers sell the lens for $9 (IICRC).

There is a document on the forum that explains how to wire one in if you cannt get your hands on a genuine loom.
