Still looking to buy a set of front and rear seats from an NF or NL Fairlane in grey velour (luna mist) to fit straight into an EF Futura. Please PM me if you have any spare. Even if you have just the rear seat, or the front seats, I will be interested. :D

I've done this swap into my futura and havent looked back. Just rememeber that due to the long wheel base the back seats will NOT bolt straight in. You have to get falcon metal backs and swap the padding and material over and also get your side bolsters recovered as the fairlane ones wont fit.

Thanks Choco, but NF and NL is that next level of comfort up from the Fairmonts. Looking to spend $400 to $450 as that is the range the wreckers are selling them for in Melbourne. The problem is, trying to source a set of front and rear seats.

Wrong - no need to change the seat parts for the rear seat, I have been told it is a straight swap - that is from several car wreckers.

Well, considering...i hope i goes like the wreckers told you. the backs are different, the side bolsters are an extra 2 in ches long, and 1.5 inch wid. not trying to rain on your parade, but just letting ya know to be prepared.
