I have a Rampage 12" sub in a purpose buits sub enclosure. Has black carpet with the Rampage leopard logo on purspex over green carpet on the sides. Dont know the power output or impedance but it was running a bridged 85w rms/channel ( x2)@ 4ohm..... so maybe 170w in my El wagon and I had to turn the gain down as it was giving me a headeach ( I am 32 and not into doof doof). Sub works great with light superficial scratching on front of coil, sorround has no lifting. Box has 5 holes in the back the same size as dowel ( done on purpose to mount amp and holder for cables) and one the same size underneath were it was mounted to the child restraint hole in the wagon.
I am after either a factory Ford 8" or aftermarket 8" that will handle the same type of output to go into my Ef Fairmont sedan. Just need something that will give a little bass kick. Any young blokes who want better bass than an 8" would love it. The thing kicks a** but I have no room in the boot with a 3rd kid on the way for a boxed sub. Can send pic's to who ever is interested and can meet from Katoomba to Penrith if needed. I am in Lawson, about 30 minutes from Penrith up the Mountains.
