The engine harness should be the same, wagon or sedan. I too have one here, but postage up to QLD would cost a few bucks so see if EDXr6-Poly can help you out first....

Cheers

he only had the motor loom, the sedan loom is different as the wagon rear fuel wires, tail lights, rear wiper etc are different, wagons have 3-4 relays in the rear where as sedans have none, a few months back myself and a mate adapted a sedan loom into a wagon and was a massive pain in the a**.

its all good ill wait a month and go to the pick-a-part all you can carry for $50 sale lol

well i have to drive 60-90 minutes to get there, but travel with some friends in my wagon, $5 fuel each and its well worth it, drive away with a wagon full of parts.. well thats the plans anyways, i was just hoping to find someone local.

i had the chance of buying my mates wagon for $200, timing issue with the motor and he blamed me for it not running right.. yet it was doing it before the MPFI conversion

i was tempted to buy it, throw my EBII motor into it and then flog it off lol

EDXR6 poly, i was there other day, looked through a few e series and coulnt see a manual, last time i asked they wanted 400 bucks for the full conversion

$400 for a full conversion is pretty cheap. I seen a EA 5spd go off at the auctions today for $350.

I was thinking... buy the car, strip 5spd bits to sell. Set fire to the car to dispose of the interia & then stick the rest on a trailer straight to the scrap yard.... Altho i think i might have got into trouble with the "set fire to it bit" lol...

Cheers

I paid less than that for a EB series 1 fairmont with a sunroof on ebay! lol.

You wouldn't get that for a very tired old CFI EA, but if you separate the alloy, copper wiring & steel, you could get more than $200 for it at the scrap yard. lol. Anyway, that's a bit too OT dude.

I did see a wagon at the auctions that had extractors, nice 16inch rims & ghia trim, would have been nice to wreck out for parts, went cheap too.

Cheers

we swapped the pumps, it ran fine until under pressure, it was strange, you could tune it and drop a few 200m long black lines, then it would run like this again i just thought drop a new motor in and problem solved.
