Hey guys, im looking at getting rid of my T and stepping back in to an EL. I have always dreamed of owning a EL GT and i am willing to pay good money for the right car. Also open to swaps etc. on T.
Cheers Gav

Hey,
I have one but havent really thought of selling before this point. If you are serious and are not just a young tyre kicker looking for something to flog, then I may consider selling. |

Buy an FBT mate, between my two its a far better car, and cheaper.
Plus they are rarer. |

Plus they are rarer. But its still not a GT, just like some people won't buy a XR6T because as good as they are, they don't have a V8 under the bonnet. Its all relative really.

FBT has ELGT suspension, brakes, exhaust, gearbox, including adaptive shift, steering wheel, seats, everything, as well as ELGT ECU, and the engine has GT40P heads instead of GT40 (read BETTER) and an explorer manifold over the tubular GT40 on the GT. They are evey bit of an ELGT, and a better car to drive, I know, because I have exceptional examples of both, and far prefer FBT over GT. GT is soft, FBT is tight, and stiffer. And just for the record, FBT was originally penned to be called Fairlane GT, in memory of the great cars of the 60's, but was canned at the 11th hour by the beancounters whom thought that a GT badge may detract from the demographic they were aiming at. ELGT is a great car, dont get me wrong, I just think the FBT is every bit the match, and rarer. |

You are more than welcome to come down and drive it and see for yourself. My GT only has 80k on it, the FBT 40k, so both very comparable. FBT just feels stronger, hence me building an AFR headed 347 for the GT. |
